Prue Coates, RIP

At the age of 95, Prue Coats, author of The Poacher’s Cookbook, has died peacefully at home on 26 October 2020.

What better toast to raise to this witty, warm and talented countryside cook, writer and wonderful hostess than this drink which she used to make, first created her ‘Beloved Archie’, her adored husband who was the last of the professional pigeon-shooters?
