Authors new website promoting their herbalist books, classes plus botanical information!

Posted by Lydia Unwin on

Julie Bruton-Seal is a Fellow of the Association of Master Herbalists, an artist, photographer, graphic designer. Her husband Matthew is an editor and author. Together they write books on foraging and herbalism, and offer workshops and courses from their Tudor house and wild garden in South Norfolk.

Their six books on foraging and herbal medicine are published in the UK and in North America. Each title is beautifully illustrated, informative and easily accessible, with recipes and itemised uses.

From plants of the hedgerow, wayside, backyard and kitchen, their books cover foraging for food and medicine, and this passion continues into Julie’s unique silver botanical jewellery.

Information about seasonal plants featuring 24 plants, four taken from each of our six books. The sample ranges from blackthorn to ylang ylang, and, as in our books, offers a plant description, herbal and other uses, a quote or two, a recipe and photos by Julie.
