We are very excited to announce that The Klink is now available to buy. It is the only book by the celebrated flytyer, Hans van Klinken on this special fly and how is came about.
The publication of The Klink marks 40 years since the creation of the Klinkhåmer Special fishing fly in June 2024.
The fly is one of the most effective – and a widely copied – emerger patterns in the world today. Its deep-hanging body resembles an emerging insect and the parachute hackle creates a realistic footprint on the water’s surface. In 2023 the Klinkhåmer was voted in “Fishing Breaks” poll as the 'Greatest Fly of All Time'.
