A book review was published in The Field (Jan / Feb issue) for Alex Schwab's new book, Fish Feel Pain - Scrutiny of a Dogma.
'Any book about the morality of fishing has the potential to put a dampener on even the most ardent angling arguments. Yet this book would counter that idea. As the FFP dogma has predominated, so the need for reasoned reflection has grown. Schwab tackles it philosophically, sociologically and scientifically. Mercifully, he not only has a sense of humour but he also displays a levity to his writing that ensures this impassioned work is never anything less than compelling.'
