New Book: Eat your Weeds! an update from the authors

Eat your Weeds! The title is self-explanatory, as it’s a plant-based cookbook featuring common weeds as the unlikely culinary stars.

The recipes are a broad range from soup to gyoza to cake, with such tempters as thistle drink, cleavers stir fry, nipplewort tabbouleh, ground ivy hot cross buns and mugwort-smoked kebabs.

Julie’s photos and recipe-writing skills embellish the pages, and the text describes the nutritional and medicinal uses for plants. This is much more than just a cookery book. It is a book to inspire you to see weeds in a new light... to appreciate their and enjoy them in a range of plant-based recipes.
