Match Fishing Magazine - END PEG (NEW BOOK) | PETER MAY

Posted by Lydia Unwin on

In the July issue of Match Fishing Magazine is a review for a new book by Peter May about the joys of match fishing.

'This enjoyable book is not a ‘How To’ guide to fishing… instead, End Peg is more of a ‘Why You Should’ book, emphasising the enjoyment the sport brings to so many, and how fishing matches can take this to a new level. Looking back over two practice sessions and 10 club matches on or around the River Thames, the book contains humorous anecdotes, recollections and reminiscences, as well as a fair few references to the history of angling. Match fishing isn’t just about catching mega weights on carp-filled commercials and this book may just remind you why you got into fishing in general, and match fishing in particular, in the first place. Well worth a read.'
