Richard Barrett - Predators in Kenya's Masai Mara

Posted by Lydia Unwin on

Author of Wild World, Richard Barrett recently visited Mara North and Olare Motorogi Conservancies, within the Masai Mara, Kenya.
If you enjoy travel and wildlife photography, Richard's book shows you how to take stunning photos of nine iconic species around the world. He writes:
'It was so good to get back to Africa after nearly three years since my last (pre-pandemic) visit. And what a place to visit! Kenya's Masai Mara is the continent's top destination for the big cats - and it did not disappoint! A total of 18 nights at two of Kicheche's camps - Mara Camp and Bush Camp. These camps are perfectly set up for wildlife photography, with expert guides who know how to find the wildlife, and just as importantly, know where and how to position the vehicle. Here is a short selection from a huge number of images - I hope you enjoy them. A spectacular trip, perfectly organised by UK travel specialists Safari Consultants.'
Visit the Merlin Unwin Books website to read more about Richard's new book Wild World (£30).
